In Trinidad? Veni Mange is the place

If you are visiting or even living in Trinidad & Tobago, we highly recommend this quaint restaurant on Ariapita Avenue.

Veni Mange - 67a Ariapita Avenue, Woodbrook, Trinidad & Tobago

Rosemary Hezekiah and well known media icon Allyson Hennessy (R.i.P) opened their restaurant’s doors after returning from school in London on December 1, 1980.

Forty two years later, Veni Mange is still going strong, with the support of two other sisters Sheelagh and Judy.

OUR REVIEW

Boquerone and fries (one of the options available on the evening bar bites menu) with a Passion fruit based cocktail.

Veni Mange Restaurant @venimange  possibly the only place along Ariapita Avenue that offers truly local food options, a nice ambience that allows for conversation as well as tapping your feet and a view of 'the avenue'.

Check them out on a Wednesday or Friday for the evening 'lime' or Mon- Sat for lunch..

Be sure to say hi to the Owner/Manager - Roses

2020-2021 in a Pandemic

What a wave 2020 has been as we saw so many events and Carnivals being cancelled worldwide.

2021 has started off in the same vein and with one of the biggest Carnivals on most people's agenda Trinidad & Tobago - being cancelled, there is indeed a void, entertainment wise as well as economic.

This song from Bungi Garlin sums up the situation particularly in the entertainment industry.
